As part of the activities of the Roundtable, constant communication with International Risk Rating Agencies is kept. |

Objetive: Contribute toward the ongoing fiscal debate with a long term proposal for a tax system that is attractive enough to promote investment and foster competitiveness in Guatemala. As well as to increase tax collection.

The preparation and evaluation of reform proposals pertaining to the tax system that take into account aspects related to fiscal policy. In Particular, those related to public debt and expenditures.

In this evaluation, the best worldwide practices are reviewed. All potential changes in the current tax system that foster economic growth and competitive capacity will be considered. These changes must be congruent with the Country Vision Plan.
