The Corruption Perception Index (CPI), classifies countries according to the degree of corruption that is perceived among its existing public officials and politicians.
This index is composed of a survey of surveys. The data generated is related to corruption. It’s obtained through consultations made to experts and companies. These are carried out through various independent and accredited organizations. The ICP reflects the opinions of all experts, including those who reside within the countries evaluated.
It’s important not to lose sight of the fact that the ICP is not a measurement of one variable that is mathematically formulated, but it is an evaluation that is based upon the perception of corrupt practices in the public circle of a country.
