A prosperous Guatemala means a generation of more jobs, greater investment and better income so the State can meet its obligations

The first pillar of the Mejoremos Guate initiative is based on the generation of more jobs, greater investment and better income so the State can fulfill its obligations and we can enjoy a more prosperous Guatemala. An analysis of the increase in prosperity should go with the central objective of creating opportunities to generate income with the additional convenience that success in generating employment is mainly due to economic growth, which in turn has a more than proportional impact.

For this reason, the heart of what the proposal seeks to impact is the generation of employment. In the last 10 years the country has an economic structure where about 1.4 million people have entered the labor market, but in those same years, only 200,000 jobs have been created.
